Sports Cards Want List

My collecting interests vary but among the many things I want for my collection, these are at or near the top of the list. I will trade or pay cash, whatever's better for you.

#1 on my want list is any Grady Sizemore card I don't already have, and multiples of a few that I do. I have nearly 700 different Sizemore cards, and I check ebay a couple times daily, so you things that I don't already own or have a bead on are hard to find. However, there's always something. My top 10 wants:

There are about 200 more cards I need as of now, but those are the top. I'm not an uber-completist, I don't collect multi-player cards (for the most part), bobbleheads, magazines, or Indians stuff in general, plain old Sizemore cards are tough enough to keep up with. I am interested in acquiring a genuine game-used jersey or fielding glove (I purchased a game-used bat this year, my first). If you have something nice and rare, PLMK.

Aside from Sizemore, I also collect Frank Thomas. My Thomas collection has slowed down since he left the White Sox, but I keep up with his base issues and whatever nicer, rarer items catch my eye that I want to compete for. Seems like there are more dedicated, deep-pocketed Thomas collectors now than in his prime.

Aside from player collecting, my favorite niche in the hobby is low-print-run set building. Here is what I'm working on.

2008 Goudey Mini 'Taupe' backs #/8  The sheer idiocy of attempting to build a set of which there are only 8, or fewer, copies is balanced by the coolness of the fact that there are only 8, or fewer, copies out there. A set this large is likely impossible, but I like accumulating them. Maybe 50 or so good players would be nice.

2007 Upper Deck Goudey Memorabilia  I AM done the 92-card jersey/bat set. Thanks to all those who helped, which includes no one, since I bought every single card on ebay or at shows.

2006 Upper Deck World Baseball Classic Patches  A 60-card set of players from the inaugural World Baseball Classic with patches from their national team jerseys. There is a more common jersey set which came 1 per case, I believe, but the patch cards have a stated print run of just 8. I have 10 or 11, prices on the Taiwanese and Japanese players are crazy, a couple Ichiros sold on release for over $1000 and likely would sell for more today. Very rarely offered anymore.

2005 Upper Deck Classics Fantasy Team  These etched-wood cards are extremely nice, and the print run was stated to be 36 sets. I have about half the 20-card set, but they are so rare that additions are infrequent.

2005 Upper Deck Origins Old Judge Gold #/20 I need just 2 for the set, Chris Burke and Phil Niekro. If you can help me complete this set, I'll reward you handsomely. But I'm always interested in acquiring more of these cards, so LMK.

2005 Upper Deck Origins Old Judge Black 1/1s I'm very interested in acquiring any of the Black Old Judge cards from Origins or Future Stars, especially the HOFers.

2004 Upper Deck Legends Timeless Team Gold #/5  I prefer basic cards, but might be interested in autographs.
